WILL & GRACE fans are mourning the loss of actor Leslie Jordan, who was tragically killed in a car crash on Monday.

The A star born in Tennesseewho won an Emmy for his portrayal of pretentious climber Beverly Leslie, has died aged 67 after crashing his BMW into a building in Hollywood.

His Will and Grace co-stars were quick to pay tribute to Leslie, who has had many ups and downs over the years.

He has been open about his struggles with drinking and drugs and once told how he found himself in a prison cell next to Robert Downey Jr while he also struggled addiction.

While he was serving time for three drunken driving charges in 1997, he decided it was time to clean up his act.

Leslie joined the cast of Will & Grace, including Debra Messing, Will McCormack, Megan Mullally and Leslie Jordan – in 2001, three years after the premiere.

The series ran until 2006, but returned for three more seasons in 2017.

After Will and Grace, Leslie, who was openly gay after years of struggling to accept his sexuality, starred in American Horror Story and Call Me Kat.

In 2010, he told a talk show host Wendy Williams that he had been sober for 13 years.

During Covid-19 pandemic Leslie experienced a surge in popularity thanks to a series of hilarious videos he posted on Instagram.

Debra Messing

Debra, 54, played interior designer Grace Adler, who lived with her gay best friend Will New York.

She has been nominated for numerous Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards, and won an Emmy in 2003.

Debra has had roles in the miniseries The Starter Wife, the musical drama Smash, and the 2020 film The Dark Divide.

In 2011, after 11 years of marriage, she separated from her husband, actor Daniel Zelman, but they stayed together for the sake of their son Roman.

Later that year, it was revealed that she was secretly dating her married co-star Will Chase. They stayed together for two and a half years.

Debra caused hostility with Kim Kardashian in October 2021 after the reality star hosted an episode Saturday Night Live.

Unimpressed with Kim’s performance, Debra tweeted asking why she was given the opportunity, to which Kim replied: “The girl from Will and Grace came out and said she has no idea why I was chosen to be the host but it’s like , why you anyway?”

Eric played Debra’s gay best friend Will, a successful corporate lawyer.

The 59-year-old Canadian-American won praise for his role, despite being a straight man himself, and was nominated for several awards.

After Will and Grace, Eric stepped away from comedy and focused his attention on more challenging roles in television dramas such as The Andromeda Strain and Netflix’s Travelers.

Since 1997, he has been married to Janet Leigh Holden, whom he met on the set of the 1994 western The Lonely Ride. They have a son, Finnigan, who is now 20 years old.

In 2019, he came under fire for saying that American conservatives who attended a Trump fundraiser in Beverly Hills should be blacklisted from Hollywood – comments he later retracted.

Megan Mullally

Megan, 63, played Grace’s assistant Karen Walker, who enjoyed the job because it gave her time away from her wealthy husband, Stan, and their children.

After the sitcom, she hosted her own talk show, but it was canceled after a year.

Since then, she has appeared in series such as Children’s Hospital, Motherhood and The Invasion.

She has been married three times – her current husband, Nick Offerman, whom she married in 2003, appeared in an episode of Will & Grace when they were dating.

After the show returned for a revamp, rumors began to surface that she was involved in a violent enmity with co-star Debra.

A couple was declared could not stand each otherwith Debra accused of being jealous of Megan’s popularity and her two Emmy wins.

Rumors intensified when Meghan went on vacation during the show’s final season and stopped appearing in photos.

In 2020, Meghan added fuel to the fire when she mentioned on her podcast with her husband that she was involved in a situation where she was bullied at work.

Although the two women did not confirm the existence of the feud, they did not deny it either.

Sean played Will’s flamboyant friend Jack McFarland, whom he met while in college.

He became one of the most beloved members of the cast, winning an Emmy, four SAG Awards and six Globe nominations.

Since the show, the 52-year-old has appeared in films such as Lazy Susan and starred in the adult animated series Q-Force.

For many years he hid his sexuality, saying that he wanted the audience to be more open to the characters he played.

But he came out as gay in 2010 amid controversy over straight men playing gay men.

He married his longtime partner Scott Eisnogle in November 2014.

In 2017, he revealed that he was rushed to hospital after his small intestine burst. He said: “I went to the emergency room and… thank God I went. I had a very rare thing where my small intestine burst and it poisoned my body.’

Shelley Morrison

Shelly had a recurring role as Rosario Salazar during the first two seasons, but was given a more substantial role after becoming popular with fans.

In 2003, she was caught trying to steal $500 worth of jewelry from a department store in West Los Angeles, fined $300, placed on a year’s probation and ordered to stay away from the store.

Surprisingly, Shelley claimed to have no recollection of the incident.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999 and had to undergo a double mastectomy – and stunned fans when she returned to work just two weeks after the operation.

When the show was revived, she refused to return as she had retired from acting.

After a brief illness, Shelley died at the age of 83 in a hospital in Los Angeles of heart failure following a brief illness.

Debbie Reynolds

Legendary actress Debbie Reynolds was already a huge name in Hollywood and the music industry before making frequent appearances on the show as Grace’s mother Bobby.

With a career that began in 1948, she has appeared in numerous films and television shows and was honored with the Humanitarian Award at the 2015 Academy Awards.

On December 27, 2016, Debbie gave birth to a daughter, an actress Carrie Fisher, died after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles.

It became a double tragedy when Debbie died of a a stroke just a day later at the age of 84.
