Ivanka Trump dines with Kim Kardashian amid Kanye’s anti-Semitic rants

Ivanka Trump was spotted enjoying dinner with Kim Kardashian in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday night — days after Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West, made a series of scathing anti-Semitic comments which sparked furious backlash for the billionaire rapper.

Ivanka, 40, who converted to Judaism when she married her husband Jared Kushner in 2009, was photographed leaving upscale eatery The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills hotel with Kim, 42, by her side over the weekend. The two allegedly spent three hours dining together. The meetup comes two weeks after Kim’s ex, 45, came under fire for stating that he was going to go ‘death con three on Jewish people,’ seemingly referring to the US military’s defense system known as DEFCON.

‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con three on JEWISH PEOPLE,’ he wrote in a tweet shared on October 9 (pictured). ‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’ Following his controversial remarks, Kanye was banned from Twitter and Instagram, and many well-known brands, including Balenciaga and JPMorgan Chase, announced that they were cutting ties with the rapper.

But despite Kanye’s spew of hatred towards Jewish people, Ivanka appeared not to hold it against the Stronger artist’s ex-wife, as the pair met up for dinner on Sunday evening. Ivanka converted after marrying Jared, who is a Modern Orthodox Jew, and the pair are raising their three children, Arabella Rose, 11, Joseph Frederick, nine, and Theodore James, six, in the same faith.

All of the kids are currently enrolled in a local Jewish school in Miami that is located just a short distance from their home in the luxury oceanfront building Arte Surfside. Ivanka donned a tan pea coat for the outing (pictured), which she kept buttoned up to hide her outfit underneath.

The daughter of former President Donald Trump paired her look with a pair of open-toed heels, while the reality star opted for some pumps. The two women exited the celebrity hotspot together before getting into separate vehicles.

Kim – who split from Kanye in February – wore a long, black skirt and a leather jacket to match.

While the SKIMS founder publicly supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, she seems to have a cordial relationship with the Trump family. She met with Donald multiple times while he was in office, in an attempt to get women who she felt had been wrongfully imprisoned released from jail, and has rubbed shoulders with Ivanka a few times at events in the past.

Back in 2019 (pictured), the two women even teamed up to ‘fight for people who truly deserve a second chance.’ ‘Thank you @KimKardashian for your passionate advocacy of [criminal justice reform] and Second Chance hiring,’ Ivanka tweeted in 2019. The mother-of-four then replied, ‘Thank you @IvankaTrump for helping me to start this amazing journey of fighting for people who truly deserve a second chance.’

As for Kanye, he has been a longtime supporter of Ivanka’s father. The 45-year-old has spoken positively of Donald many times in interviews and online, and is often seen sporting the former President’s ‘Make American Great Again’ red hat (pictured). He wrote in a 2018 tweet, ‘You don’t have to agree with Trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.’

He also appeared close with Ivanka and Jared – however, earlier this month, during another shocking social media rant, Kanye attacked Jared by stating that he ‘held Trump back.’

In an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson (pictured), he also claimed that Jared only wanted to normalize relations between Israel and Arab countries to ‘make money,’ and slammed his brother, Joshua, who is married to Karlie Kloss, for investing in Kim’s SKIMS line. ‘You know, I had a dinner with Ivanka, Jared and Josh. And a couple days later, I found out that Josh Kushner had 10 percent of SKIMS, which is a line that I developed with Kim. I had a lot of issues with the imagery of SKIMS. I felt like there’s a lot of imagery that was overly sexualized and things that I wouldn’t want to see my wife and definitely not my daughters doing in the future in order to sell product.’

He continued: ‘So, I found out after this dinner that Josh Kushner had 10 percent of SKIMS and I had 5 percent of SKIMS … I said, “Hey, Josh, what if I had 10 percent of Karlie Kloss’ lingerie shapewear swimsuit line, and you have 5 percent of it and you didn’t know? How would that make you feel?”‘

Ivanka was spotted flying out of Miami – where she lives with Jared, 41, and their three kids – on Sunday morning; it does not appear as if any of her family members came with her on the trip, since she was seen heading through the airport alone.

The businesswoman kept it casual for the flight in a pair of blue jeans, a green jacket, and pink Adidas sneakers.

On Sunday, the mother-of-three posted some adorable pictures of her family apple picking to Instagram, but it appears that the snaps were taken before she jetted off to LA.

In the photos, Ivanka, Jared, and their three children could be seen laughing while pulling fruit off the trees and carrying their pickings back.
