Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on McHenry identified
The man who was fatally struck by two vehicles on Modesto McHenry Avenue has been identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.
Jonathan Headley, 31, of Modesto, was walking west on McHenry north of Roseburg Avenue when he was struck by the southbound vehicles, Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Sharon Beer said.
According to her, the drivers stopped at the scene.
Hadley was taken to a hospital, where he died.
