The California Wolf Center rehabilitates and returns wolves to the wild –
JULIAN (KUSI) – The California Wolf Center was founded in 1977 by Paul and Judy Kennis, originally named the Julian Center for Science and Education.
What started with just two North American gray wolves has grown into a sanctuary for dozens of wonderful wild creatures.
Their main goal is to release back into the wild, but the reserve has a pack that lives on the property.
KUSI’s Casey McKinnon went live at the preserve to showcase the resident flock, which San Diegans can meet by appointment only.
