She looks more like her grandmother Jackie every time she is spotted and when Rose Kennedy Schlossberg stepped onto the beach, it was like going back in time.

Sporty and fit, the 34-year-old former comic actress met up with a friend at a popular Ventura surf spot, Californiawearing large sunglasses and a baseball cap that covered most of her face.

But once she got down to Surfers Point in Seaside Park and prepared to hit the waves, she removed her dark glasses and donned a bucket hat, and that’s when the resemblance to the former first lady became apparent.

“She has dark eyebrows and wide eyes, and the same pale smile that Jackie has. The rose also has its own quiet grace; it’s absolutely horrible,” said one beachgoer.

Rose’s resemblance to Jackie has been noted before. DailyMail.com wrote in 2016 that she has “the same brunette hair, delicate smile, wide eyes and slender figure”.

On October 20th the surf was relatively calm with only one to two foot waves. Dozens of surfers sat in the Pacific Ocean, sprawled out on their boards, waiting for a good ride.

The location is a favorite among local celebrities such as Rob Lowe, pro surfer Kelly Slater and legendary South African world champion Sean Thompson, who now lives up the coast about 12 miles away in Montecito.

Rose crossed the network of rocks and swam to where the waves started, while her friend went to another area.

Despite a couple of false starts and complete destruction, Rose kept coming back, not giving up for more than three hours.

Rose is the eldest child of Jackie’s daughter, US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, 64, and her longtime husband, artist Edwin Schlossberg, 77. They have two other children, Tatiana is 32 years old and Jack is 29 years old.

On May 14 of this year, she married director-turned-restaurateur Rory McAuliffe, 31, at their $1.2 million home in nearby Ojai, California.

Rose and Rory’s same-sex wedding was attended by 300 guests; including her mother’s cousin Maria Shriver, 66, former talk show host David Letterman, 75, singer Jimmy Buffett, 75, and How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel, 42, who is neighbors.

Wife Rose co-owns Ojai farm-to-table hot spot Rory’s Place, which she opened in February with her older sister, chef Miv McAuliffe, 36.

Ojai’s laid-back and artsy atmosphere attracts locals and tourists alike for its boutique hotels, world-class resorts, golf courses, hiking, biking and horseback riding trails and eclectic restaurants.

“It’s a world away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles,” a local told the Daily Mail.

Rose is the first granddaughter of John F. Kennedy, the 35th president, and Jackie Kennedy. She was named after her great-grandmother and family matriarch, Kennedy Rose, who lived until 1995 at the ripe old age of 104.

She grew up on the Upper East Side of New York and had a close relationship with her famous grandmother, Jackie.

She studied at Brearley, a private all-girls school in New York, where tuition is currently $60,000 a year.

Jackie’s grandmother once helped chaperone her school trip to the American Museum of Natural History and was reportedly the only grandparent in the group.

But she died of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a blood cancer, in 1994, when Rose was just five-and-a-half years old.

Described as “bright and independent,” Rose graduated from Harvard in 2010 with a degree in English. Three years later, she earned a master’s degree in professional studies from New York University.

After several years of working in the cinema, she seemed to disappear from the field of vision. But as these exclusive photos from DailyMail.com show, she’s found her own version of ‘Camelot’ on the West Coast with Rory.

In a recent online interview with Remodelista, Rory was asked if she could see herself and wife Rose raising their children in Ojai?

“I have a baby,” she replied, “this is Rory’s house.”
