Halloween is coming, and you might be in one of the best cities to celebrate it.

Wallethub, an online personal finance resource, looked at what makes the best place for Halloween, ranking of 100 US cities. Ten California cities made the top 20.

Using a weighted ranking, Wallethub assessed trick-or-treat friendliness, which includes the proportion of potential trick-or-treaters — people age 14 and younger — walking rates, crime rates and the proportion of occupied housing units that serve as trick-or-treating stops.

Other factors evaluated include the number of Halloween costume and party supply stores per capita, candy and chocolate stores per capita, bars and clubs per capita, and forecast temperature.
