Wednesday’s Powerball drawing was the seventh largest in the history of the drawing, reaching a projected jackpot of $680 million.

The jackpot increased after no one picked all six numbers in Monday’s $625 million drawing.

The numbers for Monday’s drawing were 18, 23, 35, 45, 54 and Powerball 16.

The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 292 million. In 2022, four winning Powerball tickets were sold

The Powerball jackpot has increased since the winning ticket went on sale on August 3rd.

Powerball also has prizes ranging from $4 million to $1 million. The odds of winning the lower prize are about 1 in 25. Powerball said there were 1.2 million lower prize winners in Monday’s drawing, including one person who hit all five white balls and won $1 million.

Powerball is played in 45 states and Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, the largest Powerball jackpot since the winning ticket was purchased on October 4, 2021 in California. This jackpot paid out $700 million.
