A man was found fatally shot on Pomona Street
POMONA — A man was found fatally wounded near the side of a Pomona street, authorities said Monday.
The shooting that left him wounded was reported Sunday in the 2200 block of Carlton Street just before 10:30 p.m., according to Pomona police Sgt. Ian Miller.
Officers were called to investigate the sound of gunfire and found the victim, Miller said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, he said.
Detectives responded to the scene but could not immediately identify the suspects or determine a motive, Miller said.
