Kim Kardashian: I’m not like Kanye! I love Jews!

Read Time:3 Minute, 6 Second

Here’s what happened to Kim Kardashian:

In order to distance herself from her ex-husband, she was forced to write a statement to support of the Jewish people.

The reality star shared her thoughts on the subject on social media on Monday morning, writing:

“Hate speech is never okay and can never be justified.”

She added:

“I stand with the Jewish community and call for an immediate end to the horrific violence and hateful rhetoric directed at them.”

As you can see, Kim did not mention Kanye West by name in this post.

But anyone who’s been paying attention to the news lately knows why she felt the need to post this update.

Kardashian’s statement came after Boy George called her out for not condemning the 45-year-old rapper’s comments.

Earlier this month, West shared a now-deleted message on social media that he wanted to go “Death against the 3 Jewish people.”

“I’m so shocked that more artists haven’t spoken out and spoken out against what he’s saying,” the Singed culture club wrote on Instagram over the weekend.

Since making those comments, Kanye has nearly doubled in size, refusing to apologize for being anti-Semitic.

Instagram restricted West’s access to its platform following the announcement, while Hollywood agency CAA (Creative Artists Agency) has since ended its relationship with the artist.

Balenciaga is also done with West, as is Vogue and the production company behind a documentary about West that is due out in the near future.

“This morning, after discussions with our filmmakers and distribution partners, we have made the decision not to proceed with the distribution of our recently completed Kanye West documentary. We cannot support any content that extends its platform,” MRC executives Modi Vichik, Asif Sachu and Scott Tenley wrote in an Oct. 24 memo.

“Kanye is a music producer and sampler.

“Last week he sampled and remixed a classic tune that has been on the charts for over 3,000 years – a lie about Jews being evil and conspiring to rule the world for their own gain.”

Things are getting ugly there too, thanks to the West.

Over the weekend, banners with anti-Semitic signs and references to the West were displayed on the 405 Freeway overpass, with the words:

“Kanye is right about the Jews.”

Before her sister jumps into the debate, Khloe Kardashian simply tweeted on Sunday:

“I support my Jewish friends and the Jewish people.”

West, meanwhile, spoke to Piers Morgan a few days ago offered the most stupid non-apologies ever.

“I will say I’m sorry to the people I hurt with the ‘deadly scam’ 0”, he said at the time.

“I feel I have caused pain and confusion. And I’m sorry for the families of people who didn’t have anything to do with the trauma that I went through and that I used my platform where you say what’s done to people is to hurt people.”

He added that he has no regrets, stating:

“I fought fire with fire. I’m not here to be smoked. This is a different type of freedom fighter.”
