Warren Moon says the return of Rob Gronkowski could save the Pirates’ season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can save their season … if Rob Gronkowski non-pensioner?!

Warren Moon fully believe that – with a member of the Hall of Fame TMZ Sports he believes the Bucs’ 3-4 could turn things around if Gronk were to return this year.

Moon tells us he got his opinion based on everything he saw Tom Brady on the field after seven games. He says he’s witnessed the GOAT struggle in the pocket … and miss the old reliable on crucial downs.

“He was a security blanket [Brady] so long,” Moon said of Gronkowski. “Whenever there’s a key play to make, especially in the red zone or whatever — and they had a hard time scoring in the red zone last week — that’s the guy he usually go to Rob Gronkowski.”

Brady’s numbers haven’t been terrible in 2022 — he has 8 TD passes and just 1 interception — but something is off appear to be off. He has just one multi-TD game this year and just two 300+ yard performances.

Moon clearly believes Gronkowski could change all that and even help the locker room with his “infectious personality” … but there’s just one problem — he’s not sure the tight end is up to par considering retirement.

Gronk said many times over the past few months he finishedalthough his agent Drew Rosenhausclaimed that his return would not surprise.
