Aaron Donald, Jaylen Brown leave Donda Sports amid controversy with Kanye West
Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown are no longer Donda Sports athletes – the two superstars have just released statements saying they have severed ties with Kanye West for his anti-Semitic comments.
TMZ Sports broke the story … Donald signed with Ye’s Donda Sports in late May. At the time, he said he was convinced by the company’s “family atmosphere.” sign with the West.
Brown followed immediately after …signing with DS later that month.
Donda Sports started a hot game with two huge names in their sports. The organization currently has no clients on the sports roster.
On Tuesday, Donald released a statement saying: “The recent comments and displays of hate and anti-Semitism are the exact opposite of how we have chosen to live and raise our children. We believe that they are irresponsible and go against everything. we believe as a family.”

He added … “As parents and members of society, we felt a responsibility to send a clear message that hateful words and actions have consequences and that we need to be better as people. We do not believe that our beliefs, voices, and actions belong anywhere near a space that misrepresents and oppresses people of any background, ethnicity, or race.”
Brown – who condemned Kanye’s statements on Monday, but said he will stay with Donda — also addressed his opinion … saying, “Over the past 24 hours, I’ve been able to reflect and better understand how my previous statements lacked clarity in stating my position against recent insensitive public remarks and actions. For that, I apologize.”
“And I try to be as clear as possible about this. I have always and will continue to strongly oppose anti-Semitism, hate speech, distortions and any repressive rhetoric.”
He continued… “In light of this, after sharing conversations, I now understand that there are times when my voice and my position cannot coexist in spaces that do not align with my position or my values. And for that, I stop its cooperation with Donda Sports”.
